A 41-year-old Clearfield woman was sentenced earlier in the week to seven days in prison for embezzling over $3,000 from the West Branch Varsity Football Booster Club. During her sentencing she pled guilty to charges that included theft by unlawful taking, and unauthorized use of an access device. Investigators found she used the organization’s credit card for personal expenses, and also pocketed cash from concession stand sales.
