A Cumberland County man is in custody for allegedly threatening Governor Josh Shapiro and his family. Capitol police said the Governor’s Office received a message from George Brown Junior earlier this month threatening to stalk and hurt Shapiro’s family, followed by another message that said “metaphorically speaking.” Brown claims the threat was fake, and only an attempt to get the Governor’s attention. He faces multiple charges.
