The Altoona Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a man linked to multiple fraud investigations. According to an alert on the Altoona Police Department Facebook page, the individual is a suspect in a false identification case, and a person of interest regarding an investigation into an identity theft and fraud investigation. Anyone who recognizes the above is asked to contact Officer Wasser of the APD at 814-949-2489. Tips can also be submitted to the department’s official Facebook page.
