Cambria County’s own Dan Barefoot made a splash in his Olympic debut yesterday, sliding into a 10th-place finish in the first-ever skeleton mixed team event at the 2026 Winter Olympics. Barefoot, who is from Geistown, teamed up with New Jersey’s Kelly Curtis for the historic event. The duo was the fourth pair to take the track, ultimately clocking in a combined time of 2:01.43.
