Bath and Body Works, a long-standing fixture at the Logan Valley Mall in Altoona has officially closed its doors as of Sunday. Customers in the rewards program were first alerted to the impending closure earlier this month. While their mall store is closed, their other Altoona store, located at the Logan Town Centre remains open. As of this month the Logan Valley Mall has approximately 40-45 remaining stores and services open. The mall currently only has one remaining anchor store and that’s JC Penny. According to a report from WTAJ News, the malls owner, Namdar Realty is reportedly shifting focus toward attracting local small businesses and dining options to fill the increasing vacancies.
