Somerset Borough police have released new details concerning a vehicle-bicycle collision that occurred this past Saturday. The crash happened shortly before 3 p.m. in the 400 block of West Union Street. Reportedly, a middle-aged man operating the bicycle sustained traumatic injuries and was airlifted to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown. Investigators, citing an eyewitness account, believe the cyclist entered West Union Street from a side road without stopping. An investigation continues.
