DOC Investigates Philly Pair For Drug Smuggling

An investigation by the state Department of Corrections has uncovered a scheme where 29-year-old Dajah Schoolfield, and 24-year-old Devin Walker, both of Philadelphia, are accused of posing as lawyers to smuggle illicit drugs into state prisons via legal mail.  Walker faces 10 charges, including felony conspiracy for forgery, drug possession with intent to deliver, and other related counts, while Schoolfield faces 19 charges, including similar felony counts.  Walker and Schoolfield were recently arraigned in Huntingdon County, and placed in the Huntingdon County Prison in lieu of bail.  Both are to face preliminary hearings on February 25th.
