An Ebensburg man, 32-year-old Cory Gabella, has been jailed following a months-long investigation into an alleged June 2024 sexual assault that left a woman with a spinal injury. According to the Ebensburg Borough police affidavit, Gabella is accused of repeatedly raping the victim at his Reddinger Street home after allegedly grabbing her by the hair and forcing liquor down her throat. Gabella is facing numerous charges that include rape by forcible compulsion, aggravated indecent assault, and strangulation. He has been placed in the Cambria County Prison where bail has been set at $250,000. His preliminary hearing is slated for February 24th.
