A brief standoff at a Huntingdon County home last week led to charges against three individuals after police spotted two fugitives on a front porch with a small child. State troopers patrolling the 600 block of Wood Street, identified 26-year-old Autumn Miller and 32-year-old Ryan Rogers. When authorities approached, the pair allegedly retreated into the house, abandoning the barefoot child on the porch. Rogers then attempted to escape through a side door, sparking a short foot chase through the neighborhood before he surrendered to police. About 30 minutes later, Miller also surrendered. The third individual, 33-year-old Carl Kyler, who also had an active warrant, remained in the home for several hours and attempted to flee through a side door but was apprehended. Rogers and MIller face charges that include endangering the welfare of children, and fleeing from police. Kyler is facing possession, and other related drug charges. All three are in the Huntingdon County Prison in lieu of bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 25th.
