Governor Josh Shapiro is again sharing his opposition to a possible ramp up of immigration enforcement in Pennsylvania. The governor spoke out against ICE operations during an appearance on ABC’s “This Week” program yesterday. Shapiro says state officials are prepared to address an immigration blitz, but he advised ICE not to come to the Keystone State, saying “we do not want that kind of chaos in our communities”. Immigration agents have already been active in the Pittsburgh area for months.
