The man wanted in Pennsylvania for setting his home on fire to try and kill spiders inside it, has reportedly been arrested after a crash in New York City. Pennsylvania authorities say Sean McDermott started a fire in his townhome in Pocono Pines Monday night; the fire then spread to other units. The 36-year-old, from Long Island, fled in a U-Haul truck. Reportedly, McDermott was in the truck when it was involved in a hit-and-run at East 32nd Street and Madison Avenue in Manhattan’s Koreatown Wednesday night. Police say they found nitrous oxide and an accelerant in the truck. He’s facing a slew of charges in New York, and will be extradited to Pennsylvania to face arson charges.
