Two people died in a multi-vehicle crash on Route 22 in West Wheatfield Township, Indiana County, after a pickup truck failed to stop at a stop sign, colliding with two commercial vehicles yesterday morning. According to investigators, the driver of a Ford pickup was traveling north near Bowser and Mt. Tabor roads when they allegedly ran a stop sign and entered the highway. The pickup was then hit by two commercial vehicles—one heading east and the other west. State police say both the driver and passenger of the pickup, who have not yet been identified, were pronounced dead at the scene. The incident closed the highway between Armagh and Blairsville for most of the day yesterday.
