As of Sunday, gas prices across the nation, and here in Pennsylvania have risen around 30 cents more a gallon, driven largely by the ongoing war in Iran and the subsequent closure of the Strait of Hormuz, which is a critical global oil transit route. As of this morning the average cost of gas is is averaging out at $3.79 a gallon, which is 20 cents more than it was yesterday, and prices could continue to rise.
