A routine parole check in Altoona led to the arrest of four individuals and the seizure of more than a pound of methamphetamine.  Yesterday, state parole officers visited a residence on East Grant Avenue to conduct a compliance check on Ryan Dodson.  Upon arrival, they discovered three other individuals in the home: Ruth Rummell, Eugene Dodson, and Gary Frederick.  During the initial inspection of Ryan Dodson’s room, officers found scales, cash, and packaging materials alongside bags of meth. The discovery prompted them to alert the Altoona Police Narcotics Division, which subsequently obtained a search warrant for the property.  The four were taken to the Blair County Prison and charged with intent to deliver, and conspiracy to committ possession and other related counts.
