A green fireball streaked across the skies late Wednesday night over Pennsylvania and eleven other states in the Northeast region. The American Meteorological Society reports their forecasters got 113 calls about the meteor, which was seen as far west as Ohio, along with sightings throughout New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut. AMS forecasters say fireballs fly across the sky hundreds of times a day, but mostly over oceans, unpopulated areas or hidden by daylight.
