The day associated with bad luck is back again for the second time this year. Today is Friday the 13th, a day immortalized in horror movies because of the many superstitions surrounding the number 13. The infamous day appears on the calendar three times this year — in February, March, and again in November. The last time that happened was ten years ago. Those who are superstitious may be laying low today, to avoid bad luck. It will be a good day, however, to get a tattoo, as many tattoo parlors around the country today will be offering Friday the 13th discounts.
