Police are searching for 35-year-old William Scribe of Clearfield after he allegedly assaulted his mother and held her captive at an Ester Lane home on March 10th. According to Clearfield Regional Police, Scribe restrained his mother to prevent her from leaving, and confiscated her phone to stop her from calling 911. While Scribe reportedly followed the victim when she eventually managed to escape, he fled the scene just as officers arrived. An arrest warrant has since been issued for his capture. Scribe is facing charges that include terroristic threats and false imprisonment.
