Funeral Service For Slain Officer

Hundreds of law enforcement officers from across the nation gathered yesterday at St. Joseph’s Parish in Chester County to honor the life and service of Pennsylvania State Police Cpl. Timothy O’Connor.  O’Connor, remembered by colleagues and family as a hero, died in the line of duty earlier this month after being shot during a traffic stop in Chester County.  The funeral service served as a powerful tribute to his career and character.  In a moving eulogy, O’Connor’s wife, Casey, described her late husband as a “steady” and “reliable” man who was a pillar for both his family and his fellow troopers.
