Mastermind In Clearfield Bombing Convicted

After a little more than two hours of deliberation, a federal jury has convicted Clint Addleman of Morrisdale, for his role as the “mastermind” behind a 2019 bombing in Clearfield that killed 34-year-old Shanna Carlson. The trial concluded sooner than expected, with Addleman found guilty on all counts,including destruction of property resulting in death, illegal possession of a destructive device, and drug distribution.  Prosecutors proved that Addleman conspired with Kris Nevling to deliver a bomb to Carlson’s apartment to settle a drug debt; the subsequent blast killed Carlson and destroyed the building.  While Nevling was convicted last year and awaits sentencing later this month, Addleman is scheduled to be sentenced on July 22^nd.
