According to state police, a person died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at a Jenner Rod and Gun Club property in Friedens, Somerset County. The incident occurred off Geiger Road, and while State Police confirmed the death, they have not yet clarified if the shooting was intentional or accidental. Both the Somerset County Coroner’s Office and state troopers are investigating.
