A Clearfield County 911 dispatcher, identified as 47-year-old Jody Lynn Becker, is facing multiple felony charges for allegedly purchasing drugs and using her position to leak confidential law enforcement data. Investigators discovered messages detailing drug transactions and the unauthorized sharing of sensitive data from the Commonwealth Law Enforcement Assistance Network, and the Pennsylvania Justice Network, to friends and family. According to the affidavit of probable cause, Clearfield Regional Police were contacted last November regarding a cell phone in the possession of a juvenile that had evidence of drug sales through undeleted text messages. The phone was surrendered to authorities. Becker, who allegedly admitted to the allegations, faces charges including unlawful use of a computer, criminal use of a communication facility, and drug possession. Becker was reportedly charged via summons, and is facing a preliminary hearing on April 29th.
