Fed. Trial Date Set In Embezzlemt Case Against Former DuBois City Manager

A federal trial date of June 2nd has been set for former DuBois City Manager John “Herm” Suplizio and former city secretary Roberta Shaffer following allegations of embezzling over $1.5 million in public and nonprofit funds.  A federal judge also authorized the use of tax records as evidence, with jury selection scheduled to begin on June 1 in Johnstown.
