New Details Emerge Regarding Standoff In Roaring Spring

New details have emerged regarding a standoff that occurred in Roaring Spring on Monday afternoon.  Thirty-five-year-old Coty Hale of Hopewell was denied bail and placed in  in the Bedford County Prison following the police standoff, initiated by alleged social media threats toward Northern Bedford County High School, and law enforcement.  Hale, who faces charges of terroristic threats, and risking catastrophe, surrendered after an hours-long standoff, sparked by posts threatening to “blow the doors off” the school, and challenging state police.  A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 1.
