Peoples Gas is requesting a rate increase for residents across Pennsylvania. The company has filed a request with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission to raise rates by more than 16-dollars per month. Peoples Gas says the increased revenue is needed to replace aging pipes, and decrease greenhouse gas emissions. Peoples Gas serves more than 700-thousand homes in the state.
