A 46-year-old man, identified as John Rackovan III, was shot and killed by Pennsylvania State Police in Cambria County Tuesday night after allegedly opening fire on troopers serving a warrant. The incident, which occurred outside a home in the Nicktown area of Barr Township resulted in no injuries to law enforcement, and the shooting is currently under investigation.   Law enforcement authorities say Rackovan is accused of opening fire on state troopers who were trying to serve a warrant on him connected to an alleged threats incident that occurred last week.  Reportedly, Rackovan was facing terroristic threats, and other related counts, after he allegedly pulled a gun on a neighbor during a road rage dispute.  Reportedly, Rackovan suffered multiple gun shot wounds in the shooting, and his death has been ruled a homicide, which means his death occurred at the hands of another.
