Less than a week after Logan Township Police arrested a corrections officer in connection to the sexual abuse of a young girl, another man has been charged in the case. A multi-state investigation into the repeated sexual abuse of a young girl has led to the arrest of 46-year-old Robert Piper of Altoona, who is accused of abusing the victim in California, and later at a local campground after the victim moved to Blair County. Piper is currently held without bail at the Blair County Prison, on charges including aggravated indecent assault, following the earlier arrest of 29-year-old Ricardo Cruz Jr., a family friend, and corrections officer involved in the same investigation. Piper is to face a preliminary hearing on April 9th. (Photo released by Logan Township Police)
