A 17-year-old Flinton resident, Carter Gallaher, was killed, and three other teens injured in a single-vehicle crash in Cambria County on Saturday, which state police believe involved high speed and driver impairment. According to state police, the vehicle left the roadway on Beaver Valley Road and struck a tree, with the driver allegedly admitting to alcohol consumption. Glendale School District, where Gallaher was a student, announced that counselors will be available for students and staff. An investigation continues.
