Flags are at half-staff across Pennsylvania to honor the Berks County fire chief and assistant fire chief who were killed in a crash. Governor Josh Shapiro gave the order this week in memory of Walnuttown Fire Chief Jeff Buck and Assistant Chief Robert Shick, who were fatally struck by another vehicle while assisting in the search for a missing person last Saturday. The alleged driver of the other vehicle faces charges including DUI homicide. Shapiro said flags will remain lowered until the date of internment, which has yet to be announced.
