The Picklr, a fast-growing indoor pickleball franchise, will open a 27,000-square-foot facility at 503 Benner Pike in College Township this August, replacing the former Big Lots. Owned by former 1999 Penn State football player Steve Smith, the location will feature nine professional-grade courts, a pro shop, and event space. Picklr members enjoy unlimited open play, tournaments, leagues, and exclusive programming, along with access to all nationwide locations. Founding memberships are currently available, offering a locked-in, lifetime discount. Upon opening, the club will operate daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
