New Trial Date Set For Former PSU Football Players Charged With Rape

The rape and sexual assault trial for former Penn State football players Jameial Lyons and Kaveion Keys is scheduled for June 1, 2026, in Centre County after a new court order from Judge Brian Marshall.  The two were scheduled for trial in March.  The judge denied a request to sever the cases, meaning both men will stand trial together following a 2024 incident involving a 17-year-old girl.  Both Lyons and Keys were dismissed from the Penn State football team after the charges were filed.
