USPS Asking PA Residents To Maintain Mailboxes

The U.S. Postal Service is asking Pennsylvanians to maintain their mailboxes.  This week is National Mailbox Improvement Week, and officials encourage residents to address any mailbox deficiencies or obstructions to make deliveries more efficient.  USPS says properly-maintained mailboxes help ensure parcels and packages aren’t lost, damaged, or even stolen.   Residents should replace loose hinges on mailbox doors, add house numbers, and ensure mailbox posts are sturdy.
