The Altoona Mirror reported that Judge Jackie Bernard sentenced 40 year old Martin Haigh to 7 years of probation after he entered his plea to charges that he sexually groped a person less than 16 years old. Haigh was accused of convincing the young girl to expose her chest and he then groped her. The victim also told police that Haigh was trying to assault her but she managed to get away. Haigh will also have to register as a sex offender under Megan’s law for the next 25 years. The victims mother told the court she thought the sentence was not harsh enough.
