Well, Governor Wolf and State Representative Emily Kinkead made the plea again yesterday while the two were in Pittsburgh. Wolf says that the republican led general assembly is not cooperating with his call to send out the stimulus checks to pa households that bring in less than $80,000 per year. Wolf noted that prices for everything have gone up a little in the past few weeks, and that the slightest increase is putting tremendous financial burdens on the budgets of Pennsylvania residents, thus repeating his call for the $2000 one time payments. Wolf said that $500 million needed for his program would come out of the American Rescue Plan Act monies pa received. Wolf told the lawmakers that the time to act is now, and he wants the bill passed.
