TV news reports indicate that state police nabbed the three men as they traveled across interstate 80 for unknown destinations. Juan Garcia Aguilar of Texas, Daniel Torres of Kansas and Alfonso Herrera Mones of Mexico were stopped by troopers as they traveled east. When Torres did not give permission to have the vehicle searched, troopers called in a drug sniffing k-9 officer to help. After that, 6.5 lbs of cocaine was located in a backpack in the trunk of the car. The drugs had an estimated street value listed at $175,000. All three men were taken into custody and charged with possession with intent to deliver among other charges. They are all locked up in the Centre County prison.
