Television news reports indicate firefighters were called out to the scene of a house fire in Upper Yoder Twp Monday night. The reports say that flames broke out around 9:30 on South Clearfield street, when a homeowner was setting off fireworks and caught someone’s house on fire. Officials say the flames were contained to the front of the structure, but the remainder of the house sustained moderate smoke and water damage. The fire was ruled accidental, and there were no injuries.
