Reports out of Harrisburg indicate that the Governor vetoed two bills that passed the Republican led State Legialsture. One bill would have banned transgender athletes from competing on girls sports teams. A second bill would have allowed registered voters to become poll watchers in any state election precinct. The veto of the transgender bill Wolf said would have made an already vulnerable group of “athletes” subject to bullying. The veto on the poll watcher bill, Wolf said that this does nothing but undermine the integrity of the election process, and would promote voter intimidation.
