News reports indicate police arrested 39 year old Gordon Perry after he allegedly stabbed another man during a fight around 5 am Sunday. The report states that the two men were on the 1800 block of Pleasant Valley Blvd where police found an unidentified man lying on the ground with a stab wound. He told police that he and Perry had a fight several weeks ago, and it apparently escalated on Sunday. The victim was taken to UPMC Altoona for surgery. Perry tried to run from police, but was tackled in an ally along grant avenue. The victim told police that Perry said he was going to kill him during the altercation. Perry is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, escape and making terroristic threats.
