The Altoona Mirror reports that the State Superior Court rejected an appeal by Ryan Wolf of Altoona. He was convicted in 2020 for a string of 8 burglaries of businesses in a short period of time. Ryan charged that the presiding Judge in his case, Wade Kagarise gave him a harsh and excessive sentence. Ryan also claimed that Judge Kagarise did not take into account that he was suffering from drug and alcohol issues and that no one was injured during the burglaries. The judge said on the contrary, many people were affected by these burglaries, and the superior court agreed. Wolf was given a sentence of 88-244 months in prison.
