According to a report by channel 6, police have arrested and charged 41 year old Herbert Shank of Claysburg of raping the woman back on July 27th. The report states that the victim told police on that day, she woke up from sleeping to find shank allegedly removing her clothes and having sex with her. Police said that the woman told shank to stop, and he complied. He later allegedly admitted to police that he die have sex with the victim wile she was sleeping. Shank is charged with sexual assault, rape of an unconscious woman and indecent assault without consent. Shank was sent to the Blair County jail on $100,000 bail.
