
In a report by WTAJ, the Blair County planning commission gave the go ahead for a plan to develop 7 new townhomes in the neighborhood. Some neighbors are concerned about where all of the water runoff from rainstorms will go. Now Keystone Custom Homes and Development CEO Drew Swope said that all that is left is for Hollidaysburg borough council to sign off on the project. Regis Nale representing Hollidaysburg watchdog says that he is in favor of development, but says more runoff diverted into sewers could cause flooding. The borough received $100,000 to study storm water runoff.
