News reports indicate that the shooting occurred Sunday afternoon around 2:45 in Barr Twp. Police say that 20 year old Robert Spears was taken into custody on charges that the allegedly shot a man twice in the lower torso. The incident happened when another man showed up at spears home to talk to his girlfriend about another matter. The woman said she asked the man to leave, but he wouldn’t. Spears came out of his home and grabbed a gun from his vehicle. A fight broke out and spears allegedly shot the man. He is charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, simple assault and reckless endangerment. He is in the Cambria County jail on $75,000 cash bail.
