A report by the Associated Press indicates that the attorney representing former A.G. Kathleen Kane says police did not present sufficient evidence to charge his client and possibly send her back to prison. Kane was disgraced from office after she leaked grand jury testimony during an investigation several years ago. She spent 10 months in jail for that crime, and is now facing du charges stemming from an accident last winter. Kane is charged with drunken driving which could send her back to prison if convicted. Her attorney says that Kane was not intoxicated, rather it was another person in her car that was drunk at the time of the accident.
