Authorities with the Blair County District Attorney’s Office confirmed today the former Assistant Fire Chief for the Altoona Fire Department was acquitted of all charges in the child sex assault case against him. Matthew Detrich, now age 52, was accused last year of repeatedly assaulting a teen girl between 2014 and 2016.
