According to the Altoona Mirror, the murder trial of both Isiah Payne and Onya Lewis may be delayed until this summer. Both are facing charges for the double slayings of Natalie Washington and Mikal Setevenson back in 2020. Payne’s attorney apparently is not available to represent him because of undisclosed health issues. Payne and lewis are charged with killing the couple over drugs and cash. The trial was scheduled to begin tomorrow with jury selection. But now that has been put on hold because defendants charged with capitol murder have to have a secondary attorney present at trial. Payne is facing first degree murder charges, while Lewis is charged with second degree murder.
