A report from Harrisburg states that representative Aaron Bernstine of Lawrence and Butler counties has introduced a bill that would ban public drag shows. Berstine says that this type of activity is considered as “adult oriented business” and he wants all shows banned from public property across Pa. Bernstine says his bill is in recognition of child abuse prevention month, and says that his bill would not subject children to this kind of sexually charged content on a public stage. The bill is the result of a reported x-rated drag show that allegedly occurred on school property in Lancaster last April.
