Authorities say that Kurt Rillema of West Bloomfield Michigan will stand trial at home for the rape of a woman at a golf course in 1999. Rillema was charged by state college police for raping a woman at the Penn State golf course in 2000. He is accused of holding a knife to the victims throat, then raping her. He was arrested earlier this year, thanks to DNA evidence police tracked down from a used coffee cup that Rillema supposedly used. He will stand trial next month in Michigan, and is accused of several rapes in that state. Authorites say that if Rillema is convicted for the Michigan rapes, their state law will prevent him from being extradited back to Pennyslvania to stand trial here.
