A report by WJAC indicates that 76 year old Nancy Focht was sentenced to life in prison for the 2018 murder of her husband David Focht Sr. Focht was convicted of the crime last month, and was sentenced on Friday. She was charged in 2019 after she reportedly confessed to police that she shot her husband on Mountain Penny Lane. Focht used a claim of self defense for killing her husband after she sad she endured years of physical abuse at his hands. But the jury didn’t buy her story, because prosecutors told them that Focht’s story had changed several times during the course of the investigation.
