Pennsylvania’s junior U.S. Senator is continuing to call for indicted Senator Robert Menendez to resign. Democrat John Fetterman’s renewed efforts came after Menendez defended himself in a Senate floor speech. More federal corruption charges were filed against the New Jersey lawmaker last week. An initial indictment in September alleges Menendez has acted as a foreign agent for Egypt in exchange for bribes. New charges allege that he also has helped Qatar. Fetterman has introduced a resolution in November calling for sanctions against Senate members who are indicted on certain federal charges.
