A hazmat team was called out yesterday morning in Huntingdon County, after a tanker that was carrying milk, flipped over.  The driver reportedly was transporting milk to Tyrone.  Local firefighters were called out to Spruce Creek Road in Franklin Township after the truck flipped over, about 3 miles away from Evergreen Farms, which is where the tanker was coming from. The hazmat team was called out because milk got into a nearby stream and is considered a hazardous material because it can cause an oxygen hazard. The Department of Environmental Protection arrived on the scene to determine just how much milk spilled into the stream.  A portion of one lane on Spruce Creek was closed while the clean-up was underway.
