A Somerset man has been accused of breaking into Hometown Wash and Dry in Somerset Borough and stealing over $1,000 from a Pennsylvania Skills Machine, and also taking packages from someone’s porch. He’s been identified as 40 year old John Wortman. Wortman is facing charges of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and numerous other counts. He is in the Somerset County Prison in lieu of $120,000 bail.
